Renewable Energy

Harnessing the power of timber and the sun, we generate energy needed to sustain our operations. Using both arrays of solar panels and woodchip boilers fuelled by timber from our own woodlands we largely meet our electric and heating needs.

We currently use 200 tonnes of woodchip per year to heat various properties through our two woodchip boilers.

Our three sets of solar panel arrays, with a combined capacity of 200kVA is enough to meet our on farm needs. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are also expanding our solar panel installations to the roofs of several estate properties, further reducing our environmental footprint.

We are always seeking opportunities to generate more of our business energy needs. Through ongoing experimentation and innovation, we are committed to finding sustainable solutions that reduce our environmental footprint while powering our farm operations.
